I do like the fact that we can subscribe via email for updates on forum topics we post, but not after every post. I think having the check box on the bottom of the thread would be enough.
Noted. We actually have it on our to-dos to shorten the confirmation messages to 1 prompt popup rather than the current two (bundling the subscribe into it).
